During the first use, before fixing a .mkv video, it is advisable to set three parameters:
- indicate in which folder the repaired video files are to be created;
- indicate where the mkvmerge file, which is needed for the repair, is located and whether the repair should start automatically after the analysis or not;
- indicate whether the settings should be kept on your system so that you do not have to re-specify them for the next time you use FixMKVGaps.
There are also two Advanced settings that can be modified by some advanced users, but it is advisable to leave them unchanged.
